Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant to join a company in major growth mode. This pivotal role involves overseeing accounting functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of financial accounting activities, including general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable processing.
  • Responsible for month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and budget forecasts
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury management, and banking relationships
  • Facilitate audits by providing documentation, explanations, and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
  • Analyze monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements, investigate variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance to the owner
  • Prepare and assist with federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and reporting requirements.
  • Manage a team of 2 folks
  • Meet with owners to review financial results, discuss business performance, and provide accounting and financial guidance.

Experience

  • A minimum of five years of experience in accounting roles with demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting.
  • Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with spreadsheets for account analysis and audit support.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly through written reports and presentations.
