  • Query and analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate performance insights to team members.
  • Support investigations into payment issues and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver timely and accurate data insights for ad-hoc analyses and business requests.
  • Communicate findings in a clear, actionable manner to Payments team members and cross-functional partners (e.g., Product, Fraud, Finance).
  • Use SQL, Excel, and Tableau for data analysis and reporting; knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical software is an advantage.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret complex datasets.
  • Solid understanding of SQL (Snowflake experience preferred).
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights and visualizations.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and confident in preparing presentations in PowerPoint to share results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Committed to using data to improve decision-making across teams.
  • Organized and diligent, with the ability to manage tasks independently and follow through on deadlines.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, preferably payments, FinTech, or digital commerce.

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with the card-not-present (CNP) payments ecosystem, including subscription billing, alternative payment methods, credit card networks, and 3DS.
  • Understanding of card network rules (such as Visa, MasterCard) and a broad knowledge of worldwide payments and settlement procedures.
