What You Will Do:

  • Build customer partnerships: develop long-term relationships and sell whole-goods, parts, and service as complete customer solutions to maximize customer and company profitability. 
  • Drive sales strategy: develop, plan, and execute the sales strategy for the Carlson Machine Controls and UAV product lines nationwide. 
  • Document sales activity: use company-provided systems and tools to fully document, track, and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Conduct field demonstrations: coordinate and conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer work sites. 
  • Serve as the Carlson liaison: be the primary contact between Carlson and RDO Equipment Co., working with Carlson on new or experimental products and training.

What You Will Need:

  • GPS equipment experience: 1+ year of experience working with GPS equipment preferred. 
  • Solar industry knowledge: familiarity with the solar industry. 
  • Computer proficiency: strong skills across relevant software and systems. 
  • Customer service: proven ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience. 
  • Communication skills: strong verbal and written communication abilities. 
  • Travel availability: ability and willingness to travel 50–70% as required. 
  • Valid work authorization: candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
