Job description

At Pair Eyewear, we believe in placing our people at the center of everything we do. We are dedicated to fostering a joyful and dynamic workplace, providing our employees with an environment where they can thrive and make a meaningful impact.
Pair is seeking an Organic Social & Community Manager to own and grow Pair's presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and beyond. You'll be our in-house voice and community advocate focused on organic content strategy, creative collaboration, and being our brand ambassador.
You'll own the full organic social function: from organic content calendar strategy and channel-specific creative briefs, to community management, creator relationships, and real-time engagement. There will be a strong emphasis on community building: engaging with our loyal customers, engaged audience, amplifying authentic customer stories, and translating community signals into business insights.
What You'll Do
Content & Channel Strategy
  • Own strategy, planning, and publishing across all organic social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms)
  • Build and manage a monthly content calendar aligned to product drops, licensed collection launches, seasonal moments, and brand tentpoles
  • Partner with the creative team to brief and develop channel-native content - from polished brand assets to lo-fi, UGC-style formats - ensuring every post earns its place in the feed
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and algorithm shifts, bringing forward-looking channel recommendations to the broader marketing team

Community Management
  • Own the community inbox: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across all platforms with speed, warmth, and brand voice consistency
  • Build systems and playbooks for community engagement - from customer care escalations to proactive community outreach
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with Pair+ family, loyal customers, and organic advocates
  • Surface community insights - recurring questions, trending topics, customer sentiment - and share them with product, creative, and marketing teams

Creator & UGC
  • Collaborate with marketing & creative teams to source and manage a pipeline of UGC creators and micro-influencers who authentically align with Pair's audience and aesthetic
  • Brief creators on seasonal campaigns, product launches, and licensed collections (Disney, Marvel and beyond)
  • Build a repurposing workflow with the Creative team that moves top organic and UGC content into paid social efficiently
  • Identify emerging creator talent and community trends before they peak

Cross-Channel
  • Partner with the creative & paid social team to share high-performing organic content and community signals that inform ad creative
  • Collaborate with the retention and email teams to ensure community-driven moments (drops, contests, member milestones) are amplified across channels
  • Coordinate with the marketing, product and creative teams on licensed collection rollouts, ensuring organic social content meets both Pair brand standards and partner style guides

Who You Are
  • You're a natural storyteller who understands how to build a brand community, not just grow a following
  • You're deeply platform-native - you understand the difference between a TikTok that performs and one that just exists
  • You're a strong writer who can match brand voice across formats: a witty caption, a heartfelt community reply, and a clear creative brief all feel equally natural to you
  • You're analytical enough to care about the data and creative enough to not be paralyzed by it
  • You're a collaborative builder, excited to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving DTC environment where no two weeks look the same
  • You're energized by a high product cadence - new frames, new licensed drops, new tops - and know how to keep content feeling fresh without burning out the team

Need to Have
  • 4+ years of hands-on organic social and community management experience, ideally within the DTC space.
  • Deep fluency across core social platforms (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.) You understand the platforms' creative formats, algorithms, and community dynamics
  • Demonstrated track record of growing engaged audiences and building brand communities, not just impression metrics
  • Strong project management skills: you can run a content calendar and manage creator relationships without dropping balls
  • Comfortable working within or alongside a creative/marketing/CRM teams to brief, review, and ship content at pace

Nice to Have
  • Experience at a brand with licensed partnerships or co-branded collaborations
  • Background managing community for a subscription or membership product
  • Experience building UGC pipelines or micro-influencer programs from the ground up
  • Comfort analyzing social performance data in tools like Sprout Social or native platform analytics
