Summary
The TPL Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting Samsung SDI logistics operations while assisting with transportation and supply chain activities throughout the Northeastern United States.
This position supports customer logistics requirements, monitors shipment movements, and collaborates closely with carriers and internal departments to ensure efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
The Analyst is responsible for transportation execution, shipment tracking, data management, and customer service support, while identifying and reporting operational issues in a timely manner. By following established procedures and operational guidelines, this role contributes to service quality improvement, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Samsung SDI Transportation Operations Support
  • Support daily transportation and logistics operations for Samsung SDI accounts.
  • Coordinate shipment pickups, deliveries, and transportation schedules based on customer requirements.
  • Communicate with carriers on a daily basis to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
  • Monitor transportation activities and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and customer requirements.

Shipment Tracking & Operational Monitoring
  • Track shipment movements and key transportation milestones for Samsung SDI operations.
  • Monitor delivery status, service disruptions, delays, and transportation exceptions.
  • Escalate operational issues and service failures to supervisors and relevant departments as required.
  • Support resolution efforts for customer requests and urgent operational matters.

Customer Service & Communication
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to logistics, transportation, and shipment status.
  • Provide regular operational updates and shipment visibility to customers.
  • Facilitate effective communication among customers, carriers, and internal departments.
  • Support customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.

Data Management & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate transportation and operational data within TMS, ERP, and internal systems.
  • Review, organize, and maintain logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Proof of Delivery (POD), invoices, and related records.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness for transportation operations.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports and supporting documentation.

Northeast Region Logistics Support
  • Support transportation and logistics operations throughout the Northeastern United States.
  • Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to support daily operations.

Reporting & Performance Support
  • Assist in maintaining operational KPI and performance data.
  • Support the preparation of recurring operational and customer reports.

Carrier & Vendor Coordination
  • Support communication with carriers, warehouses, and logistics service providers.
  • Follow up on shipment schedules, appointments, and service updates.

Process Compliance & Administrative Support
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support audits, compliance activities, and other duties as assigned.

Compensation Range
$50,420 - $57,900 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Education & Experience
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years of Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics experience
