Unlike other heavy civil contractors, we diversify in a broad range of markets including mining, landfills, golf courses, residential, CMAR/JOC, wind and energy, recreation, flood control, and transportation. With over 350 pieces of equipment and upwards of 75+ jobs on our construction schedule, we aren't like the rest. HEAVY CIVIL CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

Rummel Construction, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Foreman. This position is responsible for directing field personnel, administering good construction safety practices and communicating effectively with all on-site activities. Assisting the Project Superintendent with various construction activities and maintaining good communication with supervision and project management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 Years' Experience in the Construction Industry, preferably heavy civil
  • Knowledge of cut and fill operations
  • Ability to work independently and as a team leader
  • Exercises professional judgement and behavior
  • Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites
  • Cut/fill earthwork operations on residential projects
  • Reading and interpreting plan sets
  • Reading and understanding soil reports and project specifications
  • Dust Control requirements and best practices
