Responsibilities

Riverside Medical Center

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Summary

Responsible for coordinating risk management activities, including incident reporting, claims management, litigation support, and policy administration. Serves as the facility's ADA Coordinator and acts as a liaison between physicians, legal counsel, and insurance carriers. Maintains the policy and procedure database to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements

Essential Duties
  • Coordinate incident reporting, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Manage claims, subpoenas, legal correspondence, and related documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between providers, legal counsel, and insurance carriers.
  • Maintain and update policies and procedures.
  • Monitor HIPAA compliance and maintain confidential records.
  • Support audits, peer review activities, and quality initiatives.
  • Coordinate ADA accommodation requests and processes.
  • Prepare reports and maintain risk management databases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Medical training background preferred.
  • Risk Management experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:

  • LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) license preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
