Position: Bilingual Behavioral Health Worker

Location: Lotus Behavioral Health Inc IPromise Program; 43 Shipping Pl , Dundalk,MD 21222

Lotus Behavioral Health Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Behavioral Health Worker to join our dynamic team of 18 professionals committed to supporting children and families in our community. We are especially interested in candidates who are fluent in English and Spanish to better serve our diverse client population.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one behavioral health interventions that support children in developing age-appropriate coping and self-management skills.
  • Serve as an advocate for the needs of each child, helping to ensure their treatment goals are met.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical team members, school staff, and family caregivers to provide consistent, integrated care.
  • Accurately document all therapeutic interactions, routine activities, and any significant incidents in accordance with program policies.
  • Complete required documentation and progress notes within expected timelines.
  • Attend and actively participate in all mandatory trainings, team meetings, and professional development sessions.


Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals in diverse environments.
  • Ability to address conflict with diplomacy, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with childhood mental health needs, family systems, and community resources.
  • Working knowledge of the child welfare system and the behavioral health supports that impact youth and their families is highly preferred.
