Our Business Performance Improvement solution is seeking a Senior Manager to join our growingtechnical accountingand financial reportingteam.

What You Can Expect:

As a Senior Manager,you'llpartnerandcultivate relationshipswith our clientstoidentifyand managevarioustechnical accountingand financial reportingopportunities.You will evaluate,analyzeand issue US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting, as well as SEC reportingposition papersforpublicly traded and private companies, including private companies seeking public registration. FormsincludeS-1 S-3, and S-4 forpublicregistrationopportunities.You'lldevelop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, and devise solutions to supportyour clients' needs through using the latest tools and methods.You'lldevelop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery.You'llfoster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market.You will also be a mentor and provide performance development to teams as you oversee the successful completion of project work plans.

  • Demonstrated experience with:

  • Performing technical accounting researchutilizingonlineresearchtools and publicly available information, developing work plans, preparing reports andschedulessummarizing findings that will be delivered to clients and other parties. Deliverables include the creation oftechnical accounting position papersaccountingand SEC reportingguidance

  • Financial reporting,financial close, consolidations,financial statement preparation

  • Process improvementrelated toorder-to-cash,procure-to-pay,hire toretireand record-to-reportprocess areas

  • Implementation of accountingpronouncement transitions (e.g.lease accounting, revenue recognition,CECLetc.), reconciliation and restatements

  • Public company readiness efforts and SEC reporting requirements

  • Identifyingkey client business issues,determiningclient needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches,evaluatingandvalidatinganalysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement

  • Shared services and global business services experience in design and implementation

  • Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpretingdata.

  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network,including withsenior executives.

  • Successfully pursuing business development opportunities andidentifyingand implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline(e.g., Accounting/Finance)

  • 7+yearsrelevant work experiencemixin consulting, financial reporting, technical accounting, internal audit,attestation /assurance

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word,Exceland PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

  • CPA licensestronglypreferred

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$123,000.00 - $197,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$140,220.00 - $224,580.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
