This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility and autonomy while contributing to a vital aspect of mental health and addiction recovery. As a remote social worker in a detox center setting, you will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, maintaining engagement and support despite geographical barriers. • Deliver individual psychotherapy to patients experiencing mental health issues associated with substance use disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that utilize solution-focused and evidence-based interventions.
• Implement therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) specifically tailored for recovery from substance abuse.
• Maintain precise and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and their families to navigate the complexities of mental health and addiction.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in substance use treatment, integrating new findings into practice to continuously improve care.
• Effectively manage your caseload to meet treatment goals while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of individuals facing the challenges of substance abuse disorders and mental health issues. Your role will involve offering support to those in detoxification and early recovery stages, emphasizing holistic approaches to treatment that empower clients and promote sustainable recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with a focus on substance abuse therapy.
• Proficiency in solution-focused interventions and evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Experience in a detox center or residential treatment setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, as well as any specialized training related to addiction recovery, will be considered a significant asset in this role.
