Mindful Walkway Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position focuses on providing high-quality therapeutic support to children and families within a specialized detox center setting, ensuring that we address diverse behavioral health needs through comprehensive evaluations and tailored support strategies.

Work Environment

This position operates in a fully remote setting, affording flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our rigorous clinical standards. Our detox center focuses on providing comprehensive services, and as an LCSW, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, early intervention specialists, and family support personnel, using technology to facilitate efficient communication and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring the appropriate interventions are in place for each family.
  • Monitor treatment outcomes and work collaboratively with a team to adjust strategies as necessary to optimize child development.
  • Provide crucial support and guidance to families, equipping them with information and resources to enhance their child’s development and well-being.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment practices during service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations as well as organizational policies.
  • Build rapport with families and children to foster a trusting and supportive environment conducive to learning.
  • Implement IFSP recommendations, adapting services based on child progress and family priorities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is focused on providing critical support to infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays during their formative years. By employing a family-centered approach, you will work closely with diverse families to facilitate their child’s growth in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your contributions will significantly impact the lives of these young children, helping them overcome challenges and achieve developmental milestones.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for potential travel for home visits when necessary.

  • Strong organization and time management skills to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
