Work Environment

As a member of our remote team, you will operate in an outpatient setting dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health support. Flexibility is key, and counselors will have the freedom to manage their schedules while adhering to our core business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our virtual platform allows you to conduct sessions from anywhere within Virginia, providing both convenience for you and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions that accommodate the diverse needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices that are effective in a remote setting.
• Create a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients, where they feel heard and understood, facilitating their personal growth and recovery.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals, ensuring ongoing assessment and adjustment as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed about the latest practices and developments in mental health counseling.
• Collaborate with a team of fellow mental health professionals to share insights and strategies for better client outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The counselor role at Eagle Rock Behavioral Health centers on supporting a varied demographic that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients often seek assistance with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications

• An active Virginia license in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A strong background in therapeutic practices, preferably with experience in delivering virtual therapy.
• Excellent communication skills, complemented by a genuine commitment to supporting clients in their mental health journeys.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of professional experience in mental health counseling or therapy, demonstrating a solid understanding of various therapeutic methodologies.
• Familiarity with online therapy platforms and virtual engagement techniques that enhance client interaction.
• A history of creating meaningful, personalized client treatment plans and achieving positive outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
