Registered Nurse - OBED - Night Shift - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Details:

  • Shift: FT Nights
  • Hours: 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am)
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment
  • Relocation assistance available

Job Summary:

  • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
  • Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Triages patients.
  • Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  • Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of Texas.
  • 2+ years of OB / Labor and Delivery experience required .
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas .
  • ACLS, BLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring, NRP, STABLE required.
  • Experience using: Fetal monitor (CPN), EMR (MT), pulse oximeter, Panda warmer.
