Job Title: Project Manager, Relocation
The Project Manager, Relocation is all aspects of moves and relocations. This role involves coordinating move activities, ensuring seamless transitions, and providing excellent customer service to clients. The Project Manager, Relocation will will lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders to successfully execute moves within budget and schedule constraints.
What This Job Involves:
  • Plan, organize, and execute moves and relocations for clients.
  • Coordinate activities with property management, facilities management, and all involved parties.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate and manage relocation communications plans
  • Incorporate best practices and industry standards into move processes.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns related to moves.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including occupancy planning, project management, and construction, to facilitate successful moves.
  • Oversee vendor selection, procurement, and management for move-related services.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address any issues or concerns.

What your Day-to-Day will look like:
  • Lead and manage the moves team, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
  • Plan and organize moves, including creating project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate activities with property management, facilities management, and all involved parties.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to moves.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and align move activities with overall project plans.
  • Oversee vendor selection and procurement processes, ensuring quality and cost-effective services.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address any issues.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, architecture, or communications..
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in a similar role, preferably within the corporate real estate industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of move management best practices and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management certification (PMP) or Change Management certification (Prosci CCP or LaMarsh CMCP)
  • Experience with move management software or facilities management systems.
  • Understanding of construction processes and the commercial real estate industry.

Estimated compensation for this position:
90,000.00 - 120,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
