At Yardstick, we’ve defined dog hospitality.

We're a boutique, suites-only dog hotel built around personalized care, elevated service, and a calmer, more thoughtful experience for both dogs and their humans. We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead one of our established Dallas locations and continue delivering the exceptional hospitality Yardstick is known for.

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of leadership or people management experience
  • Strong operational and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • High integrity, reliability, and accountability
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • Excited by growth and motivated by ownership and responsibility
  • Pet industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (we’re open 365 days a year)
What You’ll Do
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of approximately 12 full- and part-time employees
  • Create a strong team culture centered around hospitality, accountability, and care
  • Own scheduling, labor management, and daily operations
  • Deliver exceptional customer and guest experiences
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and well-run facility
  • Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and facility upkeep
  • Build relationships within the Dallas community through outreach and local partnerships
  • Work closely with leadership on operational improvements and company growth initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
  • Target compensation of approximately $65,000 annually, including performance-based bonus incentives
  • Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates
