Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a General Manager for Sodexo supporting the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Serve as the senior Sodexo leader responsible for all food service operations across the campus account
Oversee resident dining, coffee shop, two retail locations, convenience store, catering, vending, and Artist Village residential dining
Lead day-to-day operations while ensuring exceptional food quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
Manage financial performance including budgets, payroll, cash controls, and operational planning
Build strong relationships with university leadership while developing and mentoring the management team
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Sodexo operational standards

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience REQUIRED
Minimum Five Years of General Management Experience in Contracted Food Services REQUIRED
Minimum Five Years of Functional Food Service Operations Experience REQUIRED
Culinary Production and/or Back-of-House (BOH) Management Experience REQUIRED
Strong Food Safety and Sanitation Compliance Experience REQUIRED
Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
Strong Financial, Payroll, and Cash Control Management Experience REQUIRED
Excellent Client Relationship Management Skills REQUIRED
University Contract Food Service Experience Preferred
