Commercial Paint Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC

I'm currently partnering with a highly respected commercial painting contractor in the Charlotte market that is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its growing team.

This is an opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation, a steady backlog of work, and leadership that understands the value of investing in its people. Responsibilities

• Manage commercial painting and coatings projects from award through closeout

• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, job costing, and safety compliance

• Review plans, specifications, and project documentation

• Conduct site visits and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget

• Lead and support field teams while maintaining strong customer relationships

• Resolve project challenges and maintain a high level of quality throughout execution

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience within commercial painting or coatings

• Strong understanding of surface preparation, coatings systems, and application methods

• Experience managing multiple projects, crews, and deadlines simultaneously

• Proven success with scheduling, budgeting, and client communication

• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
