Job Overview

The Attribution Specialist at Macy's is responsible for optimizing attribution strategies to enhance product discoverability on the website. This role involves defining processes, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring accurate data management to improve the overall site merchandising experience. The Attribution Specialist will support an offshore team onboarding & optimizing product on Macys.com. A successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset. This role reports to the Senior Manager – PDP Optimization.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on attribution strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business teams to establish business rules for automated attribution tagging.
  • Manage backend data impacting on-site experiences, including new attribution and size mappings.
  • Collaborate with the Marketplace team on taxonomy changes and ensure all data systems reflect up to date attribution strategies.
  • Investigate data issues and track resolutions through JIRA.
  • Support and monitor output from the offshore team onboarding over 100K products annually.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.
Skills You Will Need
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in retail, site merchandising, or analytics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Creative and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility in work schedule based on department needs.
