Electronic Circuit Board Lead Repair Technicican  
 
Position Summary

We are seeking an Electronic Circuit Board Lead Repair Technican to take ownership of our board-level repair and testing operations while also serving as a technical resource for our customers. This is a hands-on, highly technical role that is central to our continued growth in both manufacturing and repair services.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repair of printed circuit boards (PCBs) down to the component level, including the ability to work with undocumented boards.
  • Lead and mentor technicians in troubleshooting, soldering, and repair best practices.
  • Develop and refine repair processes, testing methods, and documentation to ensure quality and repeatability.
  • Support engineering with failure analysis and feedback.
  • Provide product support to customers (phone/email) for troubleshooting and technical guidance.
  • Manage repair workflow, RMAs, and testing logs to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with operations and production teams on quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with board-level electronic repair (soldering, desoldering, reflow, surface-mount, and through-hole components).
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose undocumented boards and identify faulty components with limited information.
  • Strong understanding of electronics theory, schematics, and test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).
  • Prior leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Bonus: Experience in the elevator industry or industrial electronics.
Compensation
  • Salaried position with a very compeitive salary based on exeprience and qualificaitons.   
  • Standard work schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Eligibility for performance-based salary increases.
  • After one year of employment, eligibility for a structured bonus program tied to repair department revenue growth.
Paid Holidays & Vacation
  • 7 paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, and Christmas Day.
  • Up to 4 weeks of vacation annually during years 1–5, with 1 week required during our annual Christmas holiday facility closure.
  • The company requests no more than 2 consecutive weeks of vacation without at least 60 days’ notice.
  • Vacation time does not roll over; however, unused vacation may be considered for additional paid sick leave based on tenure.

Relocation Assistance
The company will arrange to cover one month’s rent at a fully furnished residence, allowing you time to settle into the area without feeling rushed into a long-term housing decision.  Assistance with moving household goods will also be offered.
