Job description

Role Overview

As a Manager, Supplier Account Management you will contribute to Sirva's success by development of our strategy and client relationships, as well as supporting the operational management of our supplier network. There are currently no direct reports, however this may be a requirement in the future as part of the role.

*This role is open to be filled in Kent, Washington or Cape Canaveral, Florida. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Management of global service providers (such as temporary accommodation, language training, immigration, spousal assistance, furniture rental) in relation to client specific supplier management.
  • Involvement in and development of regional and global client interface, including client reviews and prospect presentations.
  • Business development support for RFPs, RFIs, and re-bids for existing client business.
  • Operational management of allocated Service Providers on a global basis, including:
    • Leadership role in selection (through RFP)
    • Price negotiation
    • Contracting
    • System updates
    • Training (development and delivery)
    • Issue logging and resolution
    • Performance review
    • Cost, volume and performance tracking
  • Proficiency in Excel and Sirva's case management systems reporting; provide data support for pricing analysis, cost savings reports, client spend, volume reporting, and other data tracking.
  • Ability to present balanced solutions as a supplier, client, and internal advocate.
  • Research, develop, and deliver trainings for suppliers and internal operational teams.
  • Global leadership of agreed area(s) of expertise (e.g., analytics, scorecards, training, etc.).
  • Proactive development of the Supply Chain function and creation of new products and processes.
  • Utilization of effective procurement methodology and ability to demonstrate cost savings and Supply Chain value-add both to clients and internal stakeholders. 
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • 2+ years Supply Chain Management experience in the Relocation Industry.
  • 6+ years' experience in the Relocation Industry.
  • Experience using online procurement tools (e.g., Global eProcure).
  • Advanced ability in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • CIPS or other supply chain management certification(s).
  • Experience of living abroad or working with different cultures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic approach to using the Sirva network to build a best-practice supply chain, reflect a specific global client's needs and culture.
  • Act as a regional ambassador and role model in support of the Supplier Networks team global strategy and practices.
  • Leadership approach to problem solving/decision-making both at strategic and tactical level.
  • Strong motivating influence and ability to work independently.
  • Project management skills: attention to detail, highly organized, and deadline focused.
  • Ability to analyze key financial data and put in place supplier performance measurements.
  • Excellent negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and adapt working hours to client and client service teams.
  • Flexibility to travel if required.

  • Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000 USD
