About Us:

Founded in 1959, Delaware Valley Floral Group (DVFG) has grown from a small family business into one of the nation’s largest floral distribution companies. For more than six decades, we’ve delivered premium fresh flowers and floral supplies to retail florists, event designers, and supermarkets across the country.

We aim to be our customers’ most valuable supplier - and we believe our employees are the key to making that happen.

About the Role

The Operations Team Lead 2nd Shift is responsible for coordinating nightly warehouse operations to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment within our Fresh Flowers division. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency, product quality, and team productivity in a fast-paced refrigerated warehouse environment.

Working closely with supervisors and warehouse team members, the Operations Team Lead helps keep workflows running smoothly from order picking and packing to replenishment and final order checks ensuring our customers receive high-quality product on time. This position combines hands-on leadership with real-time problem solving to support a safe, organized, and high-performing night shift operation.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate nightly warehouse operations to support efficient order picking, packing, and shipping activities.

• Ensure order accuracy by working closely with picking teams and verifying that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and completely.

• Monitor pick tickets, packing queues, and workflow to maintain productivity and meet shipping deadlines.

• Guide warehouse team members through packing processes including dry packs, procona buckets, and other product preparation methods.

• Oversee inventory replenishment, product unboxing, and stocking to maintain consistent product availability.

• Support final quality checks to ensure orders meet company standards before shipment.

• Align staffing and workflows based on order volume to maintain steady production and minimize operational bottlenecks.

• Partner with supervisors and team members to promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the operation.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Compensation & Benefits (What’s in it for you)

The expected salary range for this position is listed above. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

We also offer:

• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) retirement plan with company match
