Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Beverage South (GA/SC) is seeking a dependable, energetic Sales Merchandiser to support its Red Bull dedicated sales team. This role is responsible for merchandising product delivered by company trucks, maintaining Red Bull shelf and cooler standards, rotating inventory, and assisting the dedicated team with the construction and maintenance of impactful retail displays. The ideal candidate works safely, moves with urgency, pays close attention to detail, and builds strong relationships with retail customers and internal team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate daily with the Red Bull Brand Manager and dedicated sales team to review priorities, route needs, promotional activity, and display assignments.
  • Merchandise Red Bull products delivered to assigned retail accounts, with a primary focus on large-format locations.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, cold vaults, and other designated selling spaces according to approved planograms, account standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Rotate all products using first-in, first-out practices; inspect dates and packaging condition; and promptly address damaged, expired, or out-of-code product.
  • Build, maintain, relocate, and remove temporary and permanent displays in support of sales programs, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Ensure displays are clean, stable, properly signed, safely positioned, and visually aligned with Red Bull merchandising standards.
  • Replenish selling locations from back stock and organize account storage areas when needed to improve inventory visibility and execution.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of display materials, point-of-sale items, tools, and merchandising supplies.
  • Communicate out-of-stocks, inventory concerns, competitive activity, display opportunities, account issues, and completed work to the appropriate manager or sales representative.
  • Develop and maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with store managers, receivers, and account personnel.
  • Complete assigned work accurately and on time, including required documentation, photos, surveys, or mobile-app reporting.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, retailer policies, food and beverage handling expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other merchandising and market-support duties as assigned.

COMPANY VEHICLE AND DRIVING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with the Beverage South Fleet Safety Manual, company policies, and all applicable DOT and traffic regulations.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Immediately report all company-vehicle and personal-vehicle accidents occurring during company business in accordance with Beverage South accident-reporting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record, when driving is required for the position.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to daily direction from the Brand Manager and sales team.
  • Ability to read planograms, follow written and verbal instructions, and use a mobile device or sales application for assigned work.
  • Prior merchandising, retail, warehouse, delivery, grocery, or beverage-industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to respond to changing market priorities.

PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and repetitive product handling throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely use carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, ladders, and other approved merchandising equipment after required training.
  • Ability to work in retail sales areas, stockrooms, coolers, loading areas, and outdoor conditions as business needs require.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and attention to detail in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
