On-Premise/Non-Traditional Manager (Red Bull)

Location: Missoula, MT (Butte or Bozeman considered)


PURPOSE OF POSITION: To manage Red Bull on-premise/non-traditional sales initiatives across the state territory, working collaboratively with all Sales Representatives who have on-premise responsibilities. This position is responsible for driving Red Bull brand awareness, distribution, and sales growth in bars, restaurants, clubs, hospitality venues, catering, food service accounts, events, coffee shops/stands and festivals. The On-Premise Manager serves as the Red Bull brand expert and strategic partner to the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve company and Red Bull brand objectives throughout Montana.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Red Bull On-Premise Sales and Brand Management

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize Red Bull presence and sales in all on-premise channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise accounts, venue owners/managers, bar staff, event organizers, and industry influencers throughout the state.
  • Ensure availability and visibility of Red Bull products at point-of-sale across all on-premise accounts in the territory.
  • Execute Red Bull's premium brand standards including the "Perfect Serve" protocol and in-store presentation excellence.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and develop territory-specific action plans.
  • Negotiate win-win partnership agreements with key accounts that drive mutual business growth.
  • Identify and secure new on-premise business opportunities to expand Red Bull's market penetration.
  • Monitor competitor activities in the on-premise channel and develop strategies to maintain Red Bull's competitive advantage.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including distribution, sales velocity, display execution, and market share.
  • Coordinate with Red Bull representatives and resources to align local execution with national brand strategies; and,
  • Prepare and present Red Bull business reviews and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Events and Activations

  • Plan and execute Red Bull activations at key events, festivals, and third-party venues to drive brand awareness and product trial.
  • Coordinate event logistics including staffing, materials, and execution to ensure premium brand representation.
  • Develop relationships with event organizers, promoters, and venues to secure Red Bull presence at high-profile events.
  • Manage event recaps, reporting, and ROI analysis for all on-premise activations.
  • Represent Red Bull at industry events, networking functions, and community gatherings; and,
  • Ensure all event activations meet Red Bull's brand standards and compliance requirements.

Team Collaboration and Training

  • Work directly with Sales Representatives across the state who have on-premise accounts, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Conduct regular field rides with Sales Representatives to reinforce Red Bull selling strategies and execution standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on Red Bull products, brand positioning, on-premise selling techniques, and relationship building.
  • Share best practices, market insights, and success stories across the sales team.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Director of Beer Sales to align Red Bull initiatives with overall company objectives.
  • Provide ongoing communication and updates on Red Bull programs, promotions, and initiatives; and,
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on achieving Red Bull sales goals.

Marketing and Merchandising

  • Manage Red Bull POS materials and merchandising assets, ensuring adequate inventory and distribution.
  • Execute premium in-store displays and point-of-sale presentations that enhance brand visibility and drive consumption.
  • Develop and implement local marketing initiatives that complement national Red Bull campaigns.
  • Coordinate promotional programs and incentives with on-premise accounts to drive sales and trial.
  • Monitor and maintain brand image standards across all touchpoints in the on-premise channel; and,
  • Ensure proper rotation and freshness of Red Bull products in all accounts.

Planning and Administration

  • Develop and manage territory business plans and budgets in coordination with leadership.
  • Participate in monthly sales meetings, presenting Red Bull updates and performance results.
  • Prepare sales presentations for key customers in collaboration with Sales Representatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of account information, sales activities, and program execution.
  • Follow up with Red Bull and suppliers to ensure collection of billbacks and rebates.
  • Participate in annual planning meetings with Red Bull representatives; and,
  • Manage resources efficiently including budget, materials, and time to drive maximum ROI.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
  • Five (5) or more years of professional experience in the beer/beverage industry, hospitality, on-premise sales, or closely related areas.
  • Three (3) or more years in a supervisory, administrative, or management capacity.
  • Proven track record of success in on-premise channel sales and relationship building.
  • Experience working with premium brands and executing high-standard brand activations.
  • Knowledge of the Montana market and integration into local on-premise industry preferred.
