What You'll Do as a Construction Safety Manager

You'll lead safety where it matters most: in the field. This role is hands-on, people-focused, and critical to protecting our crews and strengthening our jobsite culture every day.


As a Construction Safety Manager, you'll:


  • Lead field safety operations across multiple project sites.
  • Audit jobsites, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions.
  • Support Superintendents, Foremen, and crews as a hands-on safety leader.
  • Enforce Corporate Safety & Health Programs and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage safety training, certifications, orientations, and documentation.
  • Develop site-specific safety plans and lead regulatory inspections.
  • Deliver equipment and jobsite safety training as needed.
  • Report safety performance and trends to the Director of Safety.
What You'll Need to Succeed as a Construction Safety Manager
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence crews in the field.
  • Professional, confident communication at all levels of the team: from field to leadership.
  • Working knowledge of
  • OSHA
  • MSHA
  • Workers' Compensation
  • DOT
  • EPA regulations
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, active construction environments.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Experience & Education
  • 5+ years of safety experience in construction or industrial environments.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or at least 5+ years of hands-on experience.
