Lead quality. Drive improvement. Build the future of manufacturing.

At ATEK Metal Technologies, quality is more than a final inspection — it is built into every process, every product, and every customer relationship. We are looking for a Quality Manager who is ready to lead from the front, develop a strong team, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

As the Quality Manager, you will oversee our Quality Management System, lead a talented quality team, partner with customers and suppliers, and help shape the strategy that ensures our products continue to meet the highest standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys solving complex problems, developing people, and making a measurable impact.

  • Drive a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO 9001 compliance and future certification initiatives
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics, identify trends, and lead corrective actions that improve performance
  • Partner with production, engineering, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality challenges and improve processes
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives using data-driven quality methods
  • Support successful new product launches through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities
  • Oversee customer quality concerns, supplier performance, corrective actions, and RMA processes
  • Use quality tools and statistical methods to reduce defects, improve processes, and strengthen overall business performance
  • Develop training, standards, and processes that support consistent quality expectations across all shifts

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a quality professional who brings strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to build relationships across all areas of the business.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001
  • Experience with quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Knowledge of statistical quality methods such as sampling plans, DOE, and capability studies
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Experience with measurement systems such as calipers, micrometers, hardness testing, X-ray, and CMM equipment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with employees, customers, suppliers, and leadership teams

Additional Experience We Value

  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methods
  • Experience with additional quality systems such as ISO 14001, AS9100, IATF 16949, ITAR, or related standards
  • Foundry or metal manufacturing experience
