Argenta is currently looking to fill the role of Project Manager at our Shawnee, KS location.
The Project Manager is responsible for guiding complex pharmaceutical development and commercialization initiatives from early planning through sustained supply. This role serves as the coordination hub between customers and internal technical teams, ensuring programs progress efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with business commitments. Projects may span multiple functions, disciplines and operational groups, requiring strong leadership, customer engagement and execution discipline.
Key Accountabilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects across product development, tech transfer, lifecycle management, and commercialization
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Establish clear project structures including milestones, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics
  • Monitor progress and proactively mitigate risks related to scope, cost, timing, and quality
  • Drive decision-making through structured facilitation and escalation when needed

Client & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Translate customer needs into actionable project plans
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to support new and expanding business opportunities
  • Ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational execution

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, MS&T, procurement, and development
  • Facilitate project meetings, track deliverables, and ensure accountability
  • Drive seamless transitions across development, launch, and commercial phases

Change & Compliance Management
  • Manage project changes within established quality and governance frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GxP) and internal procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and inspections

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement improvements to project execution, tools, and processes
  • Contribute to PMO best practices and operational excellence
  • Mentor team members and promote strong project management discipline

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, supply chain, or related field
  • 3+ years of project management or relevant professional experience
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
  • Exposure to product development, manufacturing, or commercial supply processes strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical or biotech lifecycle processes
  • Ability to evaluate technical and operational impacts on project outcomes
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without authority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and ERP systems
