Job description

Vixxo is seeking a full-time Project Manager for our Construction projects.
THE ROLE
The VIXXO Project Manager on the Construction Team is responsible for managing and leading both individual, multi-disciplined convenience store remodel project solutions (including Major/Minor Remodels, Acquisitions, etc.) for clients. The role has direct accountability for on-time project delivery, financial goals and meeting all project objectives. The Project Manager also participates in business development, client engagement and special projects as required

TOP 3 RESPONSIBILITIES
  • High volume project management for individual construction projects ranging in scope from $5,000 to $500,000 including planning, design, construction execution, occupancy and closeout
  • Accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes.
  • Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, and quality control.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum three years of direct Construction or Project Management experience and/or training
  • Previous experience working with retail stores a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings and forecast and prepare budgets
  • Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standards to complex documents including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, work letters, detailed SOW, surveys and construction drawings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or Construction Management and/or PMP certification preferred
