Job description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall project management of medium risk projects, or projects that entail federal and/or leasing projects or project groupings.
Location of position: GSA - Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX)
We are currently filling thirty-four vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-12 salary range starts at $89,508 per year.ย  If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.ย ย 
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service.ย 

Specialized experience is defined as experience utilizing project management practices and tools to simultaneously manage multiple construction and/or repair and alteration projects in a real estate environment. This experience must include:ย ย 

  1. Managing projects (balancing scope/quality, schedule and budget) requiring the services of multiple disciplines (i.e., construction, design, IT, telecommunications, interior furnishings, etc.) from project initiation phase through financial closeout;
  2. Interpreting customer needs and developing them into actionable requirements;
  3. Developing, managing, and balancing project plans, budgets, and schedules; and
  4. Coordinating and facilitating decisions by managing multiple stakeholders.
