What Youโ€™ll Do

As the Project Manager, youโ€™ll lead capital engineering projects from initiation through closeout while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering and procurement projects valued up to $30M Total Installed Cost (TIC)
  • Manage projects through FEL, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and closeout
  • Develop project execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and client requirements while driving a Zero Harm culture
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Oversee project controls, including:
    • Cost management
    • Scheduling
    • Forecasting
    • Change management
    • Risk management
  • Prepare Decision Support Packages for project approvals and funding
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and continuous process improvements
  • Capture lessons learned and implement best practices across projects
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience managing heavy industrial engineering projects
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Experience managing capital projects in:
    • Refining
    • Petrochemical
    • Chemical Processing
    • Industrial Manufacturing
    • EPC environments
Work Schedule

Location: Blaine, Washington

  • Mondayโ€“Thursday: Onsite at refinery
  • Friday: Remote work available (manager approval)

Travel is minimal (less than 10%).

Required Certifications

Successful candidates must be able to obtain:

  • TWIC Card (required before start date)
  • HHFT Safety Training
  • Client Safety Training/Badge

$130,000 - $170,000 a year

Salary is based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
