Job Title: Project Cost Analyst CWP-1387
Location: White Plains, NY

Duration: 12 month(s)

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7.5 hour work day with .5 hour unpaid lunch. Paid for time worked only; there are no paid holidays, vacation, or sick days. Overtime is not permitted unless authorized in advance. Contingent Worker is required to badge in and out of the turnstiles located in the lobby for all daily entrances and exits.

Project Overview:
This role will support the project Cost Controls team across a variety of Project Portfolios. This role plays a critical part in ensuring NYPA's Project Cost Control discipline is assured across projects, enabling project teams, leadership, and other key stakeholders to make informed decisions to support the successful execution of Projects.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Staff will be partnered 1:1 with a NYPA Cost Analyst and be assigned a subset of projects within that Cost Analyst's purview for daily management.
  • Prepare for and attend Project update meetings, providing overviews of project cost variances and forecasts.
  • Support core processes, such as Invoice Processing, Contract Financial Commitment management, Project Administrative Closure, and Accrual collection.

Skills: Intermediate-level skills in Excel. Strong communicator and problem solver. Ability to manage standardized processes across multiple projects.

Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree required. Familiarity with project controls tools and techniques preferred. Experience in energy, infrastructure, or construction industries.
