Job description

PMA Consultants is a national program management/construction management consulting firm consistently achieving top rankings in Engineering News-Record (ENR). With a portfolio of projects that span the globe, we specialize in project and program management with subspecialties in owner's representative, project controls, project scheduling, risk management, claims avoidance, and other fields. Organizational Responsibilities
PMA is currently seeking a Project Controls Scheduler for an exclusive assignment on-site at a client's facility in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be involved in every facet of scheduling and schedule control for a large construction project. Duties include schedule review, schedule development, schedule updates, progress monitoring, and cost forecasting. The Scheduler will frequently walk the project site to assess progress and validate schedule performance. The project schedule will be highly detailed and will likely be cost- and resource-loaded.
This is an on-site position. We are seeking candidates who are local to the Detroit, Michigan area.
Qualifications
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another engineering discipline, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience is required.
  • Hands-on scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
  • Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects is strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing, updating, and analyzing CPM schedules, including critical path and schedule variance analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with owners, contractors, and project stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated capability with applicable software programs required.
  • Applicable professional certifications are preferred.

$100,409 - $124,330 a year
The salary range for this position is $100,409- $124,330.
