Position Specific Description

Responsible for the completion of assigned complex or long-term projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Independently handles moderately complex projects and/or projects for small to medium-sized areas, requiring in-depth knowledge of the Nuclear industry, specifically relating but not limited to engineering. Responsible for managing complex projects and plant modifications, including safety-related systems. Strategic planning is required to optimize resource use. Personally controls and authorizes projects with budgets up to $1,000,000. Education: BS Degree required in Engineering or Construction Management (or related technical field).Relevant Preferred Experience: Minimum of 10 years nuclear experience,Manages highly complex projects and plant modifications, including safety-related systemsResponsibilities: Leads strategic planning to optimize resource use and ensures operational readiness for turnkey processes.Other: Provides technical consultation, resolves complex issues, and signs off on project deliverables. This is a full time project bound role with expected duration thru October 31, 2028. 

Job Overview

This position is responsible for the completion of substantial projects that support nuclear objectives. Employees in this role lead projects that vary with regard to resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Individuals maintain project momentum, report completion status, and control costs to budget.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

   Leads substantial and complex projects independently to ensure completion in accordance with schedule date
   Develops project plans such that stakeholders and contributors understand their assignments and timing
   Deploys resources efficiently, ensuring that work performance flows without bottlenecks and gaps
   Innovates solutions to problems that arise from changing project circumstances
   Values and effectively incorporates certain functional experts into projects
   Calculates costs and controls expenses to budget
   Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

  High School Grad / GED
  Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  Experience: 4+ years
  Min Exp in Lieu of Degree:9+ years
