Job description

Project Controls Manager
We are looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team. The Project Controls Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, cost engineering and estimating for the project. The main objective of the Project Controls Manager is to ensure that projects are completed on time and stay within budget.
Responsibilities
• Compile, analyze and report project cost and schedule to the project team
• Management of project budget and cost control functions which include budgeting, scheduling, estimating, tracking progress, and forecasting
• Establish project budget, baselines and report variances
• Track project progress
• Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans
• Track project deliverables and monitoring physical percent complete
• Develop and maintain detailed cash flow and commitment flow throughout the project phases
• Review and validate contractual compliance of project invoices
• Assist and support project management in financial close out of project
• Oversee schedule development and maintenance in Primavera
• Plan staffing needs for project

Qualifications
• 10 years with Project Controls Manager experience required
• College degree preferred
• Strong Excel skills including vlookups and utilizing pivot tables
• Strong understanding of construction terminology.
• Understanding of project management and accounting concepts.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal structure while exercising great judgement.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Work well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Familiar with Primavera and Microsoft Projects software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
