PMO Business Intelligence & Project Performance Analyst

Job Summary

The PMO Business Intelligence & Project Performance Analyst supports project and portfolio performance reporting, business intelligence, and data visualization for the Southern Nuclear Project Management Office. This role develops and maintains executive reports, dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and portfolio analytics that support project governance, project controls, financial visibility, and leadership decision-making. The analyst will consolidate, validate, analyze, and report project performance data from multiple sources, including project controls, finance, schedule, cost, risk, and portfolio management systems. This position will work closely with PMO leadership, Project Controls, Finance, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate, consistent, and actionable performance information across the Southern Nuclear project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and publish project performance reports, executive dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and portfolio analytics.
  • Analyze cost, schedule, forecast, resource, risk, and project performance data to identify trends, issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support portfolio-level reporting, business intelligence, and data visualization for PMO leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Use Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and other tools to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and performance insights.
  • Support standardization of PMO reporting methods, metrics, dashboards, and portfolio analytics.
  • Translate project controls, finance, schedule, cost, and portfolio data into clear business insights and leadership reporting.
  • Support finance, project, and cost management system reporting, including dashboards, data validation, reporting improvements, and system-related analytics.
  • Partner with PMO, Project Controls, Finance, Project Managers, and system stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with governance expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports, improve data quality, and enhance reporting processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of PMO reporting, project controls visibility, and portfolio performance management.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information Systems, Finance, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.

Experience

  • Experience with project performance reporting, business intelligence, analytics, or data management.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPIs from multiple data sources.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, automation tools, or similar technologies preferred.
  • Experience supporting project management, project controls, financial management, portfolio reporting, or cost management functions preferred.
  • Experience in utility, engineering, construction, capital project, or nuclear environments preferred.
