About this Role

The Senior Project Controls Manager at Quanta Power Solutions is responsible for leading project controls functions across large, complex capital projects or portfolios, including cost control, scheduling, forecasting, risk management, progress measurement, and performance reporting. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives by implementing effective project controls systems, processes, and governance.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all project controls activities for major projects or programs.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Oversee cost management processes including budgeting, forecasting, earned value management (EVM), and change control.
  • Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, cost, and productivity baselines.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, KPI reports, and project performance analyses.
  • Manage project risk registers and support mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and operations teams.
  • Review contractor schedules, progress reports, and payment applications.
  • Establish project controls standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead schedule risk analysis and scenario planning.
  • Support claims analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning when required.
  • Mentor and supervise project controls engineers, schedulers, and cost analysts.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, company policies, and industry standards
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or project management.
  • Experience managing large EPC, infrastructure, energy, industrial, or construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with:
    • Primavera P6
