Marcus & Millichap, Inc, the nation's one of the largestcommercialreal estate investment brokerage companies (about80officesin North America), is looking to hire a highly motivatedOracle Fusion ERP Functional Lead specializing in Order-to-Cash (O2C) & Project Accounting.
The successful candidate will support, enhance, and optimize our Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP environment. This role will serve as the functional subject matter expert for end-to-end O2C and Project-to-Cash processes, including Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management, Project Costing, Project Contracts, Project Billing, and Project Revenue Recognition.
The successful candidate will partner with Revenue Accounting, Finance - operations, Accounts Receivable, Cash management, Project Management, IT, and external implementation partners to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions, drive process improvements, support system enhancements, and strengthen post-go-live operations.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 per year. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. These ranges may not reflect potential compensation for positions based in other states or regions.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder-to-Cash Functional Leadership
  • Lead functional design, configuration, testing, support, and continuous improvement for Oracle Fusion O2C processes.
  • Support Oracle Fusion modules and capabilities including Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management, Collections, Customer Data Management, Pricing, and related billing functions.
  • Partner with Finance and business teams to improve customer billing, invoicing, cash application, credit management, collections, and revenue recognition processes.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to receivables, revenue, billing, and customer accounting.
Project Accounting / Project-to-Cash Responsibilities
  • Serve as the functional SME for Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management, including Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Contracts, Project Billing, Project Control, and Project Revenue Management.
  • Configure and support project organizations, project types, project templates, expenditure types, project contracts, funding, billing events, and revenue methods.
  • Support project-based billing models such as time and materials, fixed fee, milestone billing, event-based billing, and percentage-of-completion billing where applicable.
  • Ensure effective integration between Project Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve project profitability reporting, project financial controls, and project closeout processes.
Implementation, Integration & Support
  • Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, functional specifications, test planning, UAT support, cutover preparation, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, spreadsheet loaders, SFTP/file-based interfaces, reporting, and third-party integrations.
  • Support integrations with CRM, contract management, banking, tax, data warehouse, reporting, and external project management systems.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, and support knowledge base content.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of ERP functional experience with strong focus on Order-to-Cash and financial business processes.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management / Project Accounting.
  • Experience with at least one full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementation involving O2C, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management, Project Accounting, Project Billing, and Project Contracts.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition, ASC 606 / IFRS 15 concepts, project costing, project billing, cash application, collections, multi-entity accounting, and financial close processes.
  • Ability to work effectively across Finance, Operations, Sales, Project Management, IT, and external system integrator teams.
Required Certifications & Training
  • Required: Oracle Cloud Financials certification or Oracle Project Management / Project Financial Management Cloud certification.
  • Commitment to obtain the complementary Oracle certification within 12 months of hire, if not already held.
  • Formal training or equivalent hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management, Project Costing, Project Contracts, Project Billing, and Project Revenue Management.
  • Working knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, Oracle reporting tools, and Oracle Integration Cloud concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Order Management Cloud certification.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification or relevant integration training.
  • Experience with Salesforce-to-Oracle, CRM-to-ERP, tax, banking, or data warehouse integrations.
  • Experience in professional services, real estate, financial services, consulting, engineering, or other project-based business environments.
