Job description

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks a Software Engineering Senior Manager for the St. Louis, MO location to work as part of team to help to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution including SDLC and Project Management strategy (i.e. waterfall, Kanban/Agile and Change Management).

Responsibilities:

Monitor workloads of team while meeting client expectations and keep leadership informed of progress and issues.

Manage technology development and deliverables by leading a team of engineers focused on Salesforce development, CI/CD pipelines, and full-stack and automation test engineers.

Collaborate with product owners and managers, delivering robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful user experiences.

Engage and collaborate across agile teams to design, develop, test and implement robust solutions.

Address day-to-day operations for Salesforce platform by owning: change/ release management, DevOps (CI/CD), operational readiness, and production administration and incident resolution.

Effectively manage budget: estimate resourcing and costs, supporting business cases and high-level program plans.

Lead team members (off/on shore, local/remove), focused on all aspects of our Salesforce platform to drive innovation, quality, and customer excellence.

Measure, monitor, and ensure the health of production systems.

Ensure healthcare information security best practice controls are in place and adhere to HIPAA utilizing a common control framework (i.e. NIST, HITRUST CSF).

Support off-hour releases as needed.

Hybrid Work Schedule

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience. Will accept 3- or 4-year degree.

Requires experience with: Using agile methodologies using Scrum and Kanban;

Reviewing new business requirements and recommending technology solutions and architecture design;

Developing APIs, data models, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams; and

Using: SQL, Cloud/VM infrastructure and technologies, Modern IDEs, Version Control Systems, OAuth, Salesforce, Pega, Siebel, NIST, and HITRUST CSF.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
