LeoLabs is seeking a Program Manager to drive the successful delivery of mission-critical programs advancing next-generation radar capabilities for U.S. Government and commercial customers in support of Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Space Superiority, and Missile Warning missions. The Program Manager will serve as the primary program execution lead and will be responsible for overall program performance, customer engagement, stakeholder management, contract execution, schedule management, risk mitigation, and coordination across technical and operational teams. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders and ensure successful delivery of program objectives while maintaining alignment with contractual, technical, and business requirements.
The Program Manager will work closely with Radar Systems Engineering, Mission Architecture, Product, and customer stakeholders to ensure technical and programmatic success.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background managing complex technical programs in aerospace, defense, space operations, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day program execution and serve as the primary interface between LeoLabs and customer stakeholders
  • Manage program scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful contract performance
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, product, business development, and customer success
  • Monitor program performance against contractual, technical, cost, and schedule objectives
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, status reports, and customer briefings
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while driving issue resolution and corrective actions
  • Facilitate customer meetings, technical reviews, program management reviews, and milestone events
  • Support contract administration activities, including change management, reporting requirements, and deliverable tracking
  • Collaborate with business development and capture teams to identify follow-on opportunities, contract growth initiatives, and customer expansion efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations

Program Execution
  • Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans

Customer Interface

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing technical programs, projects, contracts, or customer-facing initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in complex operational or technical environments
  • Strong knowledge of program management principles, lifecycle management, and risk management practices
  • Experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, space, intelligence, or technology programs
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain any required security clearances

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, U.S. Space Force, Intelligence Community, NASA, or other government customers
  • Familiarity with Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Space Situational Awareness (SSA), space operations, radar systems, or related mission areas
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent program management credential
  • Experience managing cost-reimbursable, fixed-price, and/or time-and-materials contracts
  • Active U.S. security clearance
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Program Management, or a related discipline
