Join our team as a Project Manager in Saint John, NB! In this role, you will lead construction projects across the region, guiding teams through day to day execution while ensuring strong safety practices and high quality project delivery. You'll play a key role in driving project success by coordinating resources, maintaining customer relationships, and keeping projects on track from planning through completion.
 

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Liaise with clients, maintaining ownership of day-to-day relationships with key decision makers, project teams, and site personnel.
  • Plan and control the construction of allocated projects to ensure completion in accordance with design requirements, schedules, and cost restraints.
  • Lead the project team in preparing economical and professional plans and specifications.
  • Identify opportunities to add customer value, including evaluating costeffectiveness of design and material selection.
  • Oversee tendering, contract awards, and contract management.
  • Prepare budgets and track cost reporting.
  • Quantify design and scope changes.
  • Manage progress claims and change orders with customers.
  • Act as a coach, mentor, and resource regarding safety issues for the project team.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in construction projects of varying size and scope.
  • P.Eng and/or PMP considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and project management methodologies.
  • Broad understanding of building codes and Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
  • Critical thinking, problemsolving skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence others and resolve technical or project issues.
  • Availability to travel within Atlantic Canada and across Canada.
