Project Manager / Program Manager, National Security

Jacobs Management Group

Washington, DC

$81 - $108/hr

Full-time

Posted 8 days ago

Job description

Project Manager / Program Manager, National Security

Washington, DC Metro Area

On site Opportunity

Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosives (CBRNE). My client defends against all five. They need a project manager to run one of those programs from a client site in the DC metro area, where a slipped schedule is not a slide-deck problem.

Why You Should Apply

  • - $81 to $108 per hour, twelve-month assignment, with possible extension or conversion to full time
  • - Mission work: CBRNE detection, response, and protection
  • - You own the budget, the schedule, and the client, not a slice of someone else's plan
  •  - A voice in proposal strategy, so you shape what the program becomes next
  • - 12 Month Assignment, Standard 40-hour week

What You'll Be Doing

  • - Build the work breakdown, then defend the budget and schedule you built
  • - Use earned value analysis to catch a slip in week five, not week fifteen
  • - Hire and reshape your own project team
  • - Own the client relationship and identify risk before it lands
  • - Engage with leadership and the customer on cost, schedule, and technical status

About You

  • - Active TS/SCI with polygraph, current, and not sponsorable
  • - U.S. citizen
  • - On site in the DC metro area
  • - PMP a plus
