Summary:
This role sits at the intersection of strategic program management and AI-native product management, managing the identification, prioritization, and delivery of high-impact initiatives across Maersk Ground Freight.
You will manage a structured portfolio (backlog) of AI-enabled initiatives, translating market insights and operational needs into scalable products, automation solutions, and programs that accelerate growth, efficiency, and innovation.
The role blends strategic thinking, hands-on product ownership, and program execution, ensuring ideas move rapidly from concept to measurable business impact.
Responsibilities:
Own and Prioritize a Strategic + AI Product Backlog
  • Manage a backlog of strategic initiatives, AI products, and automation opportunities
  • Translate market insights, operational gaps, and commercial needs into prioritized product and program roadmaps
  • Balance short-term impact with long-term capability building

Manage AI-Native Product Development
  • Collaborate on product vision, business cases, and success metrics for AI-enabled tools, copilots, and internal platforms
  • Lead MVP-to-production lifecycle using modern AI-assisted development approaches
  • Identify opportunities across AI, automation, and workflow ecosystems

Lead End-to-End Program Execution
  • Structure and deliver complex, cross-functional programs with clear milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Finance
  • Translate strategy into executable plans and track delivery against impact

Generate Insights and Shape Strategy
  • Develop market, customer, and operational insights to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
  • Use data, analytics, and predictive models to guide prioritization and decision-making
  • Identify structural gaps and step-change opportunities across products and workflows

Drive Commercial and Operational Impact
  • Enable AI-powered use cases across pricing, sales, operations, and customer experience
  • Support commercial teams with insights, tools, and product enhancements
  • Improve scalability through process standardization, automation, and workflow simplification

Build Scalable Product Mechanisms
  • Establish repeatable frameworks for experimentation, validation, and deployment
  • Drive adoption of AI tools, copilots, and automation across teams

Key Capabilities & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Advanced or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • 5-7+ years across product management, program management, strategy, technology
  • Proven experience managing complex backlogs or portfolios of initiatives
  • Strong product mindset with experience defining roadmaps, MVPs, and scaling solutions
  • Solid understanding of AI/automation use cases and modern development ecosystems (e.g., copilots, low-code, agentic workflows)
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data modeling, forecasting, and business case development
  • Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured initiatives and shipped solutions
  • Experience working cross-functionally across business and technology teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight
  • Familiarity with TMS, pricing systems, or operational platforms

Pay Range:
$110,000-$130,000 annually
*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
