Job Description:

Manages and leads team members with directing all phases of programs from proposal development through completion. Drives program execution to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for new and/or existing product lines. Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated program areas. Serves as a customer contact for program activities. Coordinates review sessions with internal and external customers for all aspects of assigned Program Management team members. Facilitates management of program support, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on time and on budget deliveries.

Essential Functions:


Leads and supports a team of experienced professionals, ensuring that personal, department, and organizational goals are achieved

Works under very minimal supervision with responsibility for entire project or process within the job area

Communicates with contacts within and outside organization (e.g. customers, suppliers, etc.) for execution of the program objectives

Responsible for managing the cost and schedule of their programs to ensure its financial well-being.

Work alongside financial team for requirements of financial, manpower, and supply chain forecasting, reporting, and variance justification

Responsible for directing and monitoring/updating program integrated master schedule (IMS) and overall program plan

Responsible for briefing customer and upper management on all facets of the program.

Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with various phases and types of DoD contract execution

Project Management Professional certification, or similar
