Job description

This role will drive evaluating and scaling AI-assisted tools that improve product management and tech workflows and throughput, and utilize AI across our Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Digital, Data, and Distribution (D3) ecosystem to optimize capacity planning and dependency management, to maximize business and P&L impact across our shared roadmaps representing the client, advisor, and marketer personas. The role will also analyze and evolve our user experience design strategy, determining the right mix of vendor and internal resources to optimize for the right design outcomes accelerated with AI capabilities. AI tools are enabling more rapid iteration, faster MVP designs, and accelerated piloting and in doing so, they are creating opportunities to evolve the skills and capabilities that product managers of the future will need (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and VS Code) to deliver superior end-to-end user experiences. At the same time, AI is introducing new categories of risk, so this role will also be responsible for managing the risk & control framework to deploy AI responsibly and in accordance with firm guidelines.

As a Product Manager in Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Digital, Data, and Distribution Product Optimization, you will identify how our teams should be deployed to create synergies, with a strong focus on OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and delivering measurable P&L value through growth opportunities and operational efficiencies. A successful candidate must be comfortable charting new ways of working where current structures need to change, and collaborative by nature. This role requires strategic thinking and direct experience with emerging AI capabilities. Beyond tooling, this role will be pivotal in reshaping how D3 teams align towards common business objectives, and deploy team resources and capacity (including vendor budgets), including how capacity and prioritization is communicated to key stakeholder groups.

Asset Management Digital, Data, and Distribution (D3) Marketing is a specialized team of subject matter experts in the areas of digital tools, web experiences, automated distribution (e-mail, thought leadership, events), data analytics, and sales experience (CRM). The team's purpose is to deliver business outcomes through integrated client journeys that generate pipeline sales opportunities, increase client engagement at critical decision points, and increase the productivity of the client distribution organization by delivering timely insights and information. Within D3, the Product Optimization team manages the overall Product Operating Model governing agile development and coordination of our D3 products, product governance to senior management, cross-product initiatives spanning multiple product teams, and performance tracking through OKRs and metrics tied closely to business value.

Job responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate AI-powered tools including Claude Code, Github Copilot and VS Code AI-assisted features and determine how they enable faster piloting, and rapid MVP designs across D3 product teams.
  • Lead product acceleration, redefining how Digital, Data, and Distribution teams collaborate to deliver integrated, cross-product outcomes and manage capacity and dependencies.
  • Develop AI-assisted resource allocation model, including team structure and vendor rationalization directly tied to P&L value, business growth opportunities, and operational efficiencies across D3 products and teams.
  • Define the evolution of the product lifecycle including integration with data teams and business intelligence horizontal stripes.
  • Define the future skills and capabilities needed for product managers in an AI-augmented world, identifying gaps and building development pathways for current team members.
  • Manage Risk & Controls framework and reporting, partnering with Compliance, Technology and Information Security teams to ensure AI tools and new operating models meet firm standards for data protection, intellectual property, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and measure the impact of AI tool adoption on team productivity, delivery velocity, and business outcomes, reporting results to senior leadership through OKRs and performance dashboards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, technology transformation, or organizational design.
  • Bachelor's degree; Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Business.
  • Experience with business transformation and organizational design, defining new operating models, and landing large-scale change in complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered development tools and their implications for team structure, skills, and ways of working.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities; able to derive actionable insights from adoption metrics, productivity data, and business outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills with confidence to work directly with senior leaders across Digital, Technology, Data, and Distribution organizations.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability; able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver results independently.
  • Intrinsically motivated, mature, and a great team player who elevates those around them.
  • Excellent at building organic relationships with peers and stakeholders across organizational boundaries, earning trust through credibility and follow-through.
  • Experience with OKRs and tying metrics directly to business value and P&L impact.
