Job Summary

The Product Manager - for Consumer & Business Products is responsible for the strategy, development, optimization, and lifecycle management of Lake Trust Credit Union's retail and commercial banking product portfolio. This role ensures the credit union maintains a competitive, accessible, and mission-aligned suite of financial solutions for individuals and businesses, driving member and business acquisition, retention, and deepening of relationships across all segments.

A central focus of this role is designing and evolving products that remove barriers and improve access, ensuring offerings are transparent, affordable, and aligned to long-term financial well-being.

The Product Manager partners with cross-functional teams-including lending, onstage, marketing, analytics, digital, operations, compliance, and risk-to deliver products and experiences that strengthen member relationships and advance Lake Trust mission of improving financial lives.

What You'll Do

         Develop and execute a holistic product strategy and roadmap across consumer and business banking.  This including lending, deposits, digital experiences, and financial wellbeing tools-ensuring alignment with organizational growth goals while creating seamless, human-centered journeys that help individuals and businesses access, manage, and grow their financial lives.

         Manage the full lifecycle of consumer and business products, including ideation, design, implementation, optimization, and retirement.

         Evaluate and continuously improve the product portfolio (e.g., checking, savings, debit, and related banking solutions) to maintain competitiveness and relevance in the market.

         Identify opportunities to acquire new members and deepen relationships with existing members through effective product design, bundling, and features.

         Identify and deliver innovative product opportunities integrated within digital experiences, ensuring responsible growth, improved access for underserved members, and alignment with financial wellbeing outcomes.

         Design and refine products that better serve Lake Trust's current and prospective members, removing barriers to access and promoting financial resilience.

         Analyze member behavior, market trends, competitive offerings, and internal data to inform product development and strategic decisions.

         Define product requirements, success metrics, and performance indicators; monitor outcomes and adjust strategy as needed.

What You'll Bring

         Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

         Master's degree (MBA or related) preferred.

         5+ years of experience in product management, consumer and/or business banking, fintech, or financial services.

         Experience managing consumer and business financial products such as checking accounts, savings accounts, payments, debit, digital banking, or similar products.

         Experience using data analytics, member insights, and market research to guide product decisions.

         Experience working in a regulated financial environment preferred.

         Experience supporting financial inclusion or underserved member segments is strongly preferred.

         Relevant certifications such as Certified Product Manager (CPM), Agile Product Owner, or similar credentials are a plus but not required.
