About the role
The Residential Pricing department is seeking a highly motivated and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst.
The Residential Pricing team is a key part of the Residential HVAC Sales & Marketing department. The team's mission is to facilitate strategic and profitable growth. This requires analysis and support of pricing and marketing programs to ensure market competitiveness across a wide breadth of brands and product lines. Strong communication skills are required to interface daily with external customers in our two-step distribution environment.
The successful candidate will understand product, be familiar with differences across regional markets, and work closely with internal sales and product teams to develop strategic and sustainable pricing strategies. This role has exposure to leadership and a broad spectrum of business activities, making it a great platform for career growth within the organization.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth pricing analyses to support strategic decision-making and enhance market competitiveness.
  • Evaluate and approve pricing requests, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and market conditions.
  • Develop comprehensive cost-benefit analyses, financial impact assessments, and competitive benchmarking to inform pricing negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to craft pricing strategies that optimize customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Manage pricing structures across multiple brands and market segments, ensuring consistency and regional competitiveness.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitive dynamics to identify macro-level risks and opportunities.
  • Perform financial modeling and sales performance reviews for key accounts to drive strategic adjustments.
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, leveraging data-driven insights to improve product mix and segmentation strategies.
  • Enhance pricing processes through automation, efficiency improvements, and the development of scalable analytical tools.
  • Maintain and audit customer pricing databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with corporate pricing policies.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate effective pricing execution.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 + years of experience in pricing analysis, market analytics, and/or financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
  • 3 + years of extensive experience in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, data visualization, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP and pricing management systems (e.g., SAP) is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience, including report generation, dashboard creation, and customer account management.
  • Experience in conducting price increases, including impact analysis, cost pass-through strategies, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align pricing decisions with overall corporate strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and execute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong bias for action and continuous improvement.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
