SAIC is seeking a SharePoint Modernization Technical Lead / Scrum Master to lead an Agile delivery team responsible for modernizing a legacy SharePoint Server 2016 environment into SharePoint Online (SPO). This role combines technical solution leadership with Scrum Master responsibilities, owning day-to-day delivery, sprint execution, and modernization outcomes using Power Platform and SharePoint Online best practices.
The role is accountable for translating legacy business processes and workflows into modern, cloud-based solutions, while ensuring consistent delivery cadence, quality, and alignment with organizational standards.
The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force's Space Systems Command. We support the Space Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems. Qualifications
Required:
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • BS degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or computer information systems Min 9 years of overall experience.
  • 5+ years of IT experience supporting SharePoint environments.
  • 3+ years of work experience with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 in an enterprise setting.
  • 2+ years of work experience developing solutions using Power Apps/Power Automate.
  • Experience managing Power Platform application lifecycle using Solutions across Dev/Test/Prod, including environment variables, connection references, and controlled deployments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading at least one SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) to SharePoint Online migration (end-to-end or major work stream lead).
  • Must have some knowledge of ID/Azure AD groups, least privilege), and Governance and life-cycle management patterns.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive delivery without heavy oversight.
Desired:
  • MS degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or computer information systems.
  • Experience in DoD contractor or government environments supporting Microsoft 365 GCC / GCC High including CUI handling and contract driven compliance requirements.
  • Experience modernizing SharePoint legacy workflow platforms to Power Automate and Classic Publishing Portals to modern communication sites/hubs.
  • Familiarity with limitations and best practices in high-security tenants (app restrictions, sharing controls, third-party add-in constraints).
  • Architectural experience integrating SPO with Teams, Power Platform, and Azure services.
  • Understanding of API limits, Search schema customization, Tenant-wide impacts of configuration choices.
  • SharePoint solution experience using SPFx and / or Typescript.
  • Experience developing normalized data structures.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (GitHub Copilot) to assist coding development and test.
  • Active Secret or Higher Clearance.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
