PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Obstetric and Gynecological patients; Newborns =34 weeks gestation
  • Case Mix: Obstetrics (prenatal, labor & delivery, postpartum), Gynecology
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • No. of Beds in Department: Labor & Delivery unit within a 79-bed medical center
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, Obstetric emergencies, Gynecologic consultations and procedures as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN
  • Licenses: Active Arizona license or Universal License (IMLC)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year post-residency clinical experience
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetrical and gynecological patients, including labor management and emergency care.
  • Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries and manage postpartum care.
  • Consult on gynecological emergencies and perform indicated surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, midwives, and specialty backup as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and handoff communication in the EMR.
