JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT Enterprise Project Manager's primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Departments efforts. The position will work closely with the customer's IT leadership representatives and the contractor IT workforce to provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Performance shall include:

  • Primary duties include scheduling, de- conflicting, and coordinating routine maintenance activities along with task/project efforts, and emergency changes in order to minimize production systems and service downtime.

  • Responsible for the full range of matters pertaining to all assured information systems under the customer's cognizance.

  • Directly supports the government lead and provides day-to-day planning and oversight for the customer's data centers, networks, telecommunications infrastructure, servers, systems, services, and applications.

  • Maintains an overall health and status awareness of all assigned resources and projects through effective and flexible resource and task management.

  • Conduct daily operations stand-up meetings with the applicable contractor IT workforce to review operational status and planned work for the day; provide applicable updates to customer leadership as required.

  • Supports the continuous improvement program for IT and develops recommendations for idea, process, and technology improvement to overall IT management.

Experience:

  • 5+ years related experience.

  • 3+ years IT Project Management experience.

  • SAP experiencedesired

  • Demonstrated experience managing dispersed teams with the responsibility for project execution comprising at a minimum information systems operations, administration, and security

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing operations of complex IT solutions in a large scale, distributed enterprise

  • Demonstrated support management of enterprise systems to include security, capacity, performance, availability, and facility support elements (i.e., power/cooling)


Education:

  • Bachelors degree OR Associates degree in a related area + 2 years experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)


Certification Requirements:

  • IAT Level II - within 6 months of hire (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) within 6 months of hire or possess a DAWIA PM Level II certificate.

  • Highly preferred: GSLC, CISSP, or CISM.

Clearance Required to Start:

  • TS/SCI required.

  • Must be able to Attain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Travel Requirements:

  • 10-25% travel.

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Defense Procurement and Acquisition processes highly desired

  • Operational Air Force experience desired

  • Strongly desire to be formally trained and/or certified in the following ITIL modules: Service Operation, Operational Support and Analysis, and/or Continual Service Improvement

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $125,460 - $169,740. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
