We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Help Desk III. This mid-level IT Support role is responsible for delivering reliable, customer-focused technical assistance across the organization. The position manages day-to-day support needs including account provisioning, helpdesk ticket resolution, device setup, and audiovisual systems, while also handling more advanced troubleshooting and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in Windows and/or macOS environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced setting with efficiency and care.
  • Provision and deprovision accounts, hardware, and system access for new hires and departing employees; prepare and configure laptops/equipment; conduct new hire tech orientations.
  • Respond to and resolve routine helpdesk tickets - password resets, software installs, printer/network issues, hardware troubleshooting.
  • Handle escalated issues requiring deeper troubleshooting, including OS-level problems, network connectivity, application errors, and system configuration.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment for meetings, conference rooms, and events (video conferencing systems, displays, microphones, speakers).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, tickets, and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across core business systems (email, SSO, shared drives, etc.).
  • Coordinate with vendors and outside providers for repairs, equipment orders, and service issues as needed.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical support role.
  • Solid understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments, Active Directory/Azure AD (or equivalent), and common business applications.
  • Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes and account provisioning tools.
  • Familiarity with AV equipment setup and troubleshooting (Teams Rooms, projectors, displays, conferencing hardware).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language to non-technical staff.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable lifting and moving equipment (monitors, laptops, AV gear) as needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, etc.).
  • Experience supporting a hybrid or multi-office workforce.
  • Basic scripting or automation experience for repetitive IT tasks.
