Aviatron is dedicated to providing quality aircraft component overhauls and repair services to the Regional Jet & Commercial Aircraft Operators of the world.

Aviatron, Inc. takes pride in its' key role of providing leadership in the use of qualityParts Manufacturer Approval (PMA)& Designated Engineering Representative (DER) parts on Air Cycle Machines for the largest Regional Jet Operators in the world. And in using quality PMA parts for the Air Cycle Machine's rotating group on the CRJ & Dash 8 aircraft, we have achieved significant cost savings for our customers in the process without sacrificing quality or reliability. We endeavor to increase the availability of quality PMA parts to keep our customers' costs low.

Our capabilities encompass a wide range of manufacturers and aircraft components. Our overhaul facility is supported by dedicated and knowledgeable staff who strive to provide our customers with superior service and cost-effective solutions.

Base salary range: $98,000-$117,000 annually, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health/dental/vision/Life and disability insurance, 401(k) match up to 6%, and Vacation, sick days, flexible work.

Overview of the Position:

To ensure the Quality Systems of Part 21 (FAA,EASA,CASE and AS) are implemented and current including any changes/revisions. Assure that all personnel are trained and are performing maintenance, preventative maintenance and alterations (including inspections) in accordance with approved data. Oversee and manage the entire audit program and Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a quality control program that ensures products conform to FAA approved design data and that Aviatron procedures adhere to current government regulatory requirements. In addition, responsible for an article's final inspection and audit of document package before it's released to a designee (DMIR).
  • Revise Quality Manual as necessary and ensure that Aviatron is operating in accordance with the current revision of the Quality Manual.
  • Correspond with Federal Employees in order to obtain FAA Approvals and stay up to date on Federal Regulations. Ensure that the Manufacturing of PMA articles are completed within the authority of Aviatron and that a delegated inspector reviews the work.
  • Maintains the Vendor Drawing List and ensures necessary audits are completed and certifications are kept in an organized manner, responsible for vendor approval, vendor audits, and updating and filing vendor list.
  • Ensure proper handling, preservation, and storage of all PMA articles.
  • Direct the Corrective Action Program and determine the appropriate actions to be taken when failures, defects or malfunctions are discovered or reported, including documenting events and notifying the appropriate parties.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Should have experience in regulation requirement analysis and implementation and technical data, procedural and training material writing.
  • Must speak, read and write in the English Language.
  • Should have common computer software skills.

Education / Experience Requirements: Must have High School Diploma or GED.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related field is preferred.
